Description
I spotted these little berries by my parent's firewood pile one cloudly fall day.
The Bittersweet Nightshade's ( also know as the Deadly Nightshade and the Climbing Nightshade) leaves and unripe fruit contain the poison Alkaloid Solanine. Although the plant is sometimes called Deadly Nightshade, it's toxin is not fatal; however, it can cause poisoning if eaten in large quantities.
The plant is called bittersweet because the berries start out bitter then turn sweet.
DO NOT EAT THIS PLANT!!!
The camera I used was a Sanyo VPC-E2100 digital camera with 14 megapixels and 21x optical zoom lens.
